Why Your Physical Health is so IMPORTANT

Being physically active not only adds YEARS onto your life but it also has an amazing effect on your mental health as well.

According to the University of South Australia, "Researchers are calling for exercise to be a mainstay approach for managing depression as a new study shows that physical activity is 1.5 times more effective than counseling or the leading medications."

There is a huge correlation between managing your mental health and physical exercise. It is extremely crucial that you are getting outside in the sun and move your body. As humans, we are made to move, we are NOT made to sit a desk all day long. According to the Mayo Clinic, "Research has linked sitting for long periods of time with a number of health concerns. They include obesity and a cluster of conditions — increased blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat around the waist and unhealthy cholesterol levels — that make up metabolic syndrome."
