My Story

July 12th, 2023

Running saved my life

It sounds dramatic but it’s true

2022 was the lowest I have ever been.

I was a degenerate and a loser.

I flunked out of college after my freshman year.

All I did was party, do drugs, and eat like shit

I didn’t like myself.

To give some short background, when I was in high school, I was in love with the sport of basketball. I gave my all to that damn sport and I found out the hard way that no matter how hard you work, sometimes you still don’t get the results you want.

I thought I deserved something for the effort I put in, but I didn’t get what I wanted

That was a tough reality to face

After basketball had ended, I had lost passion for anything. That was my whole life

After a year and a half of being lost and not knowing who I was, I found running.

At the end of 2022, I had damaged my lungs so much from smoking weed that I couldn’t breathe and was left with 2 straight months of chest pain.

I hadn’t truly exercised since high school, running was the only thing that made me feel better, it helped my chest pain a ton.

So I started running everyday, out of pure desperation, because I thought I was on the brink of my lungs collasping.

6 months later, here I am

A fucking runner.
